These updates are important for the security of your site. Old and outdated software, plugins, and themes are the most common ways for hackers to gain access to websites.

Additional Plan Information

All consulting sessions are conducted by email, telephone or Zoom. In person consultations (local clients only) are additional and at a rate of $200/hour.

Website maintenance tasks are available in packages that include time for them with updates and changes to your website, so you don’t have to worry with them.

It is up to you to provide a “task list” of things you want done on your site each month, for us to work from. Once we are notified that you want a change made to your site, it will go into our work queue and be handled as quickly as possible.

This service is meant for simple tasks that cover things like:

• Adding customer/client testimonials to your site.
   
• Adding new staff to your profile or about us sections.
   
• Setting up a plugin to increase or improve performance or results for your business.
   
• Create a simple form for your website (as long as it is not long and complicated).
   
• Fixing any plugin conflicts you may be experiencing on your site.
   
• Fixing any CSS problems that will improve the look and feel of your site.
   
• Adding, updating or deleting any text on your website (new text provided by you).
   
• Adding, updating, resizing, cropping or deleting pictures on your website (provided by you).
   
• Fix any dead links you find on your site.
   
• Update copyright dates in footer.
   
• Adding, updating or deleting videos on your website (provided by you).
   
• Entering and formatting your provided blog posting, including using royalty free stock photography to enhance it.
   
• Adding new e-commerce products or updating existing ones (if on a ECommerce maintenance plan).
   
• Work with you hosting company on your behalf, if needed, to solve hosting problems (will be deducted your monthly time).
   
• Answer technical, SEO or other website related questions (will be deducted monthly time).
   
• Or, any other small task that you need to have done throughout the month.
   

These tasks do not cover advanced or complex tasks such as a setting up a complete online shopping cart system, installing a booking system, calendar or membership section, custom PHP programming, developing a full site, creating a landing page for advertising, creating a new page on your site that is different from your existing site pages (i.e. anything that involves design and development work), creating a complex form that will take more than an hour to do, etc.

Tasks that go over the amount of time allotted per month will be billed at our regular standard rate (you will be notified before completion).

There is no contract for month-to-month plans, and you can cancel at any time and will not be re-billed when the current month is up.

Plans that are paid annually can be canceled at any time, and will not be renewed at the end of the yearly term. Your services will continue until the paid term expires.
